Quest Adventures – Big
Creek Park
All ages, FREE
Are you ready for an adventure? Check out the Big Creek Park Quest! Pick up a Quest map at the Newport Recreation Center. You will search for concealed clues throughout the park. Once found, the clues will lead you to a Hidden Box where you can sign the log book and take an imprint of a special stamp as your Proof of Accomplishment. This is a great activity for younger children and doesn’t require a GPS. Good luck . . . and remember to keep the location of the clues and box a secret so everyone can share in the fun! For more information or to find out about the other seven Quests in Newport, contact Maureen Collson at 541 867-0159 or visit http://seagrant.oregonstate.edu/freechoice/OregonCoastQuests.html, or contact Cait Goodwin at 541 961-0968, cait.goodwin@oregonstate.edu.
